Pride (2014)
One of the recent releases on this list, Pride takes is beautiful movie about how the members of the LGBT community help support socially relevant issues that are hurting their neighboring communities. They take pride in their sexuality and band together. The setting was 1984 during the British Miners Strike where the group raised funds to help the strikers families. The strikers declined the help and the group decided to give the funds to a mining town, Onllwyn, Wales.
