How can this be not the happiest place of all? Considering the pristine beaches, festive atmosphere and loving environment, Honolulu is definitely one of the happiest places not just in the US, but around the world. Despite its size, it sees millions of tourists each year because locals extend their happiness to the visitors. Perhaps, the biggest reason why people in Hawaii are happy is because there really is no majority group. People feel respected and loved, regardless of their race, color, gender preferences or religious affiliation (or lack of it). Hawaii also provides near universal health care, so people feel pretty good about their life in general.
