Algeria
This is the only country in the list coming from the African region. It ranks 38 on the global list of happiest countries, which is an impressive feat considering how its neighbors are ranked. Of the bottom 20 countries, 90% can be found in Africa. Algeria being one of the wealthier countries in Africa could be a contributing factor to the people’s level of happiness.
