Elephants have wide range of emotions. It is also due to the fact that they are intelligent animals. They have strong family bonds. They love to walk together as a family. They also play with each other, especially the little ones. Studies even revealed that they tend to make jokes with each other and call each other out for their foolishness, pretty much like human beings. However, they can also feel deep sadness. When a family member dies, they mourn.
