Their current prime minister alone is more than enough of a reason to smile. Other than that, Canada is a lot more tolerant and welcoming than its neighbor, USA. They have ranked higher than the US in terms of happiness for the past several years. They have a really excellent health care system and a labor laws that favor the working class over big corporations. The overall atmosphere in Canada is way more positive than the US, especially now with the president elect.
