Personal Assistants are stereotyped in movies as someone yelled at by egomaniacal bosses. Yes, think of ‘Devil Wears Prada’. However, it is the exact opposite in real life. In fact it is not a bad choice for a career shift. PAs will most likely tell you that they have a fulfilling job compared to those who are in other lines of work. One of the fulfilling things that comes with the job is they know what the big boss knows.
