Kansas State University is one of the happiest colleges in the country. It has its main university grounds in the city of Manhattan. It first opened in 1963 and considered the first higher learning institution run publicly. The university has two more campuses in Olathe and Salina. The latter is home to degrees in Aviation and Technology. The former is where academic research is done. About 24,000 to 25,000 enroll every year for Fall.
