Olathe, Kansas
You might not think about Kansas as a happy state right now considering how bad the shape of their economy is. The state has been made a guinea pig for conservative policies by their governor and the results are a disaster. Olathe is an exception though. In this city, more people own homes than any other people in the large US cities. They also rank high in terms of the number of married residents. The unemployment rate is down at just 5.2% and they rank 10th nationwide in terms of the lowest poverty level.
