Again, another Kansas city made it to the list of happiest cities in the US. Despite the fact that the state in general is not doing well, some cities with more progressive and inclusive policies are actually doing better. They have the third lowest poverty rate in the whole country. They also have extensive health insurance coverage. Their unemployment rate is also 7th lowest in the US. They have everything to remain happy despite what is going on in the state level.
